Wood wins GSK contracts

Article by Amanda Jasi

WOOD has been appointed GSK’s capital delivery partner for the pharmaceutical company’s Ware site in Hertfordshire, UK.

As part of the three-year contract, a Wood delivery team will provide engineering, procurement, and construction management services at the site with support from the company’s engineering hub in Glasgow.

Wood says the appointment strengthens its strategy for cross-sector diversification in the UK and it demonstrates its strong track record of providing engineering and design services for more than a decade to GSK sites.

Dave Stewart, CEO of Wood’s Asset Solutions business in Europe, Africa, Asia & Australia, said: “We are delighted to grow our longstanding relationship with GSK by partnering with them to support the development and manufacture of life-saving medicines at one of their key UK campuses.”
