REGISTRATIONS are open for IChemE’s conference on Advances in the Digitalisation of the Process Industries.

After a four-year break, the event will run again on 16-17 October in Manchester, UK. The conference has been designed for engineering and process industry professionals working in cybersecurity, digitalisation, information management, process automation, process control, process modelling and process simulation.

Plenary speakers include Costas Pantelides, CTO at Siemens Process Automation Software; Valentijn de Leeuw, vice president of ARC Advisory Group; and Sarat Kumar Reddy Molakaseema, chief architect officer at UniversalAutomation.org.

There are also speakers from Johnson Matthey, Petronas and British Sugar; and a presentation from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) on understanding how AI is used by industry in HSE-regulated sectors.

Conference co-chair Zaid Rawi said: “I’m really excited to explore the latest applications of digitalisation in the process industries – from digital twins to advanced process automation – along with the data, models and technologies that enable them. I’m looking forward to insightful discussions that can help accelerate adoption across the sector.”

The conference programme can be downloaded here. IChemE members benefit from reduced registration rates.
