IChemE launches early careers groups in Australia and South East Asia

Article by Adam Duckett

TWO new regional National Early Careers Groups have been launched by IChemE to support and connect members in the early stages of their careers.

IChemE said the National Early Careers Group Australasia and National Early Careers Group Malaysia and South East Asia have been created in response to the growing need for tailored support, networking and development opportunities for graduates and young members in those regions.

The new groups will work alongside the existing National Early Careers Group UK and Ireland. The groups provide opportunities for members to grow their personal networks, and develop their professional and technical skills.

Eligible members under the age of 35 have been automatically added to the new groups. The institution is calling on members to find their NECG community on IChemE Connect.

IChemE encouraged all early career members to make connections and consider joining their group’s committee to help shape its events and initiatives.
