Webinar: Improve the Accuracy of Your Final Analysis

Article by Adam Duckett

ON 10 November, The Chemical Engineer is hosted a free webinar to discuss techniques to improve the reliability of analytical techniques. A recording of this webinar is now available to stream at the link below.

Engineers working across sectors are invited to join Niklas Forsman of Sartorius to discuss best practices for sample handling in analytical laboratories. As part of the webinar Forsman will review the influence of different pipetting techniques on results and offer tips and tricks on how to select correct pipettes and techniques for different liquids and conditions.

“Pipetting is a precision task influenced by multiple factors. In this webinar we discuss how to select pipetting techniques for challenging liquids and how to define a maintenance programme for pipettes to ensure reliable results,” Forsman said.

Forsman will also explain how engineers can ensure reliability of results and conformance to the international standard ISO8655.

“Accuracy of a final analysis is often dependent on the pipetting results at the sample preparation phase. Therefore, it is important to use the right pipetting technique according to your sample type and to service pipettes regularly.”
