ICHEME’S journal Education for Chemical Engineers (ECE) is planning a special issue on Digitalisation in Chemical Engineering Education: AI-Enabled Teaching, Learning, and Assessment – Perspectives from the World.
The issue will explore how digital technologies are reshaping the way chemical engineering is taught, learned and assessed, with artificial intelligence positioned as one of several enabling tools alongside approaches such as simulation, virtual laboratories and data analytics.
The special issue will be guest-edited by Mo Zandi (University of Sheffield, UK), Brent Young (University of Auckland, New Zealand), and Michaela Pollock (University College London, UK).
ECE welcomes submissions from IChemE members and the wider community, including research studies, evidence-based evaluations, practical case studies, and reflections on curriculum development, accreditation alignment, staff development, and student digital skills.
