BASF boosts agrochem focus
BASF announced in June that its agrochemical research pipeline is coming to fruition and has awarded a 3% rise this year to the €514m (US$570m) spent on crop protection research – focussing approximately 26% of its total research budget into a segment that currently generates 9% of company sales.
