The Digital Transformation of Process Engineering - sponsored by Aveva

The pace of technological change sweeping across the process industries is breathtaking, and it is catapulting organisations towards a new reality with new possibilities. Digital transformation marks a major rethink in how organisations use technology, people and processes to fundamentally change business performance and strategies. While other engineering disciplines have embraced collaboration and agile workflows, process engineering is often stuck in siloed workflows with a different software tool to answer every question. AVEVA Process Simulation brings new energy to process engineering. It empowers engineers to use the same model across the engineering lifecycle and collaborate transparently with their peers in other disciplines.

Join this webinar to see how AVEVA Process Simulation:

• Combines Design, Rating and Dynamics modes into a single simulation
• Enables collaboration within process engineering and beyond
• Accelerates digital transformation in process engineering

Presenters:

Roy Calder – A Chemical Engineering graduate from the University of Strathclyde. After twenty years in operations, technical and project management roles in South Africa he joined Invensys’s SimSci team. Today he manages a Global team of multi-disciplinary engineers supporting AVEVA’s top twenty-five clients on their Digitalisation journey.

Chloe Smith – Has a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering and has worked as a Process Engineer and Field Technical Advisor, spending much of her time at different refineries and petrochemical plants in Asia and Europe. Chloe joined AVEVA in 2018 as a Technical Sales Consultant, supporting the process simulation business.
